Playtesting
Kamoamoa - Two sisters, Pele and Nāmaka, fight under a full moon on a black sand beach on Hawai’i.
Bats of Limekiln - A race down a creek along the Big Sur coast.
Foosball 74 - A custom version of Soccer 54, with more cards, plus actions.
Variants
While on vacation when the kids didn’t want to play a four-person game, I designed a two-person unofficial variant to play with my wife, who loves 7 Wonders Duel.
My wife and I devised a way to play Palace and use all 56 cards in the exquisite River and Stone deck of playing cards designed by Beth Sobel.
Designed in a reply to a post on Bluesky, it’s the cooperative version of War!
I designed an unofficial two-person variant for Gang of Four so my wife and I could play more.
Supported
Z Photo Game - I provided social media administration on Instagram for the Kickstarter launch in the Fall of 2024.
Disc Golf
Number - A disc golf putting game I designed during COVID-19 when I was trapped with only a portable basket in my backyard.
Ideas
I want to design a game about:
A time when I was a wildland fire fighter at the Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park.
Ocean tides and ‘opihi, the Hawaiian limpit.
Time travel and a dystopian future you could "play" in real life.
Kamoamoa lava delta, Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, Big Island of Hawai’i (1992 - Wikipedia).
